The Project menu has the following menu items: New. Creates a new ApSIC Xbench project file. The current project will be closed and an empty project will be created. The Add Files to Project dialog opens automatically. Open. Opens an ApSIC Xbench project file stored on disk. The current project will be closed and the project on disk will be loaded. Reopen. Lists the 9 projects opened most recently. The most recent one can be opened with the Alt+F6 hotkey. »
The menu items shown for the View menu depend on the tab that is currently active. The View menu has the following menu items: Project. Opens the Project tab. Search. Opens the Search tab. Internet. Opens the Internet tab. QA. Opens the QA tab. Project Instructions. Opens the Project Instructions tab. Checklist Manager. Opens the Checklist Manager tab. Show/Hide Toolbar. Shows or hides the toolbar. Show/Hide Search Options. Shows or hides the Search Options pane. »
When the Internet tab is the active one, the Internet menu has the following menu items: Open Browser. Opens the current default browser with the page currently displayed in the Internet page. It has the Ctrl+B hotkey attached. Go Back. Returns to the previous web page. It has the Alt+Left hotkey attached. Go Forward. Moves to the next page. It has the Alt+Right hotkey attached. Go to URL. Opens a dialog to go to an specific web page from the Internet tab. »
The Checklist menu only appears when the Checklist Manager is the active tab. The Checklist menu has the following items: New. Creates a new checklist under Personal Checklists or Project Checklists. Add. Adds an existing checklist under Personal Checklists or Project Checklists. Save as. Saves the selected checklist using another name. Rename. Renames the selected checklist. Remove. Removes the selected checklist for the personal or project checklists. It does not delete the checklist from disk. »
The QA menu has the following items: Check Ongoing Translation. Runs all checks currently selected in the QA tab against all files defined as ongoing translation. Run Project Checklists. Runs all checklists attached to the Project Checklist in Checklist Manager against all files defined as ongoing translation. Run Personal Checklists. Runs all checklists under Personal Checklist in Checklist Manager against all files defined as ongoing translation. Export QA Results. Exports the issues shown in the result list to one of the following formats: tab-delimited text file, HTML, Excel, or XML. »
The Tools menu has the following menu items. Some of the menu items appear only when a given tab is active. Spell-Checking Dictionaries. Allows you to download and install the latest dictionaries available. Settings. Lets you configure some settings related with the overall behavior of the application. The changes you make here are saved from session to session. Export Items. Allows you to create a tab-delimited text file or a TMX memory with the contents of the current search, the contents of a specific glossary in the project or even all the contents of the ApSIC Xbench project. »
The Help menu has the following menu items. Documentation. This menu item opens this help web page. Report a Bug or Suggestion. This menu item opens a web page were you can describe a bug or send us a suggestion. Support Forum. Opens the Support Forum web page. Check for New Version. Checks if there is a new version of ApSIC Xbench available for download. In Tools->Settings->New Versions, you can define that ApSIC Xbench checks weekly for new versions. »
